Visits: how to get alternative suggestions?

Hi there

With 1.7.8 the visit confirmation and especially alternative selection of names disappeared.
Now the following text is shown for every unconfirmed visit: “No alternative suggestions yet. Confirm or decline this place, or edit it from the visit detail.”

I don’t get what I should do to get the alternative suggestions of places nearby. I read the “Visits and Places” page on the dawarich.app website, but I still don’t get it. Does anyone here know what I have to do to get the alternative suggestions? (If someone has a screen recording or screenshots that would be very helpful.

I’m getting this too. At first I thought it was something to do with my account, but it looks like there’s at least one other person!

There’s currently an open issue on github. Hopefully this will shed some light into how this should work.

1.7.9 visit suggestions appear in random spots

I have seen the using map v1 offers the possibility to select alternatives when clicking a suggested visit. Nevertheless the alternatives are very limited. On map v2 this „feature" does not seem to work.

Wait a bit for 1.8.0, there will be new functionality to search a place/area to assign to a visit by its name or address
