Newbie, I don't understand Dawarich iOS

Hi Community,

first of all thanks for this incredible software! Hope I’ll follow this project for many time.

I’m trying to understand how it’s working the Timeline on iOS app, perhaps I thought that I’ve find a similar timeline like in Google Maps, and I can only see where I am now, but not the timeline.

I’ve import data from Google timeline since 2011 and even with those Points, If I select other date there is change in map, and still show my actual position.

I’ve seen the Total distance or geopoints tracker, but there no country visited, almost and this year I’ve visited Italy, and in the past other European countries, but none counts. But in web I can see the points on that places.

Perhaps I’ve misconfigured something or there something that I missed?

The iOS app is currently user mostly for tracking and not viewing data. It doesn’t pull existing data from Dawarich backend and only can show the data you’ve tracked with it.

This will be changed pretty soon though, as we started working on the multiplatform app, which will have a lot more feature parity with the web version
