Android App failing to track when no data connectivity

I took a trip out of the country for a couple days this past weekend. I had roaming data connectivity for part of the time, but was on wifi for a good majority of it. The entire time I was roaming, and on the wifi out of the country, Darwarich did not upload any tracked points. All my tracked points stop the minute I landed in the country and returned the moment I touched back down in the US and was no longer roaming.

Is there any explanation for this?

One possibility is that access to my domain I use for Dawarich was blocked while out of the country - but then shouldn’t Dawarich app queue up those points and upload them when it can connect? It seems it just discarded any collected data during that time period.

Please advise

It should work exactly like this, accumulate points until the connection is available.

Do you see the tracked points in the app? You can forcefully re-upload them to the server from the Settings screen.

No, they are not in the app, either.

Sadly, this means that no points were tracked during that time…

Well, yes… but the question is why did it stop tracking the moment I left the country and only start tracking again when I returned? I travel all over the world… it’s kind of a useless app if it’s only going to track when I’m in the US.

I’ll research this. GPS tracking should be also working without any internet connection

What is your Accuracy setting in Advanced tracking settings?

It’s set to 100m. And now I have to add extra text because this is asking for a 20 character minimum, which is stupid.
