# How to edit/tag Places

Hi there.
I feel like I’m missing something really obvious here.
How do you edit a **Place**? How do you tag a **Place**? The [documentation states](https://dawarich.app/docs/features/visits-and-places/?_highlight=tags#applying-tags-to-places) to “enter the details view for a place”, but how do you do that? Further up in the docs [it also says](https://dawarich.app/docs/features/visits-and-places/?_highlight=tags#managing-places)“Places can be viewed and managed in the Places section” but that doesn’t appear to be true.
I am only presented with the option to delete a place. I can’t click the name, or coordinates, and there is no edit button.

Kind of. Haven’t seen much activity here, so I just went with Traccar instead. It’s been very solid.
