I have Dawarich running in a docker compose on my server. I did the following commands to update the container:
` sudo docker compose down && sudo docker compose pull && sudo docker compose up -d`

It says it was successful and everything looks normal. However, when I log into the app site, I still see a notification saying update is available for 1.14.4, and my current version says 1.14.3.

How do I get this updated to the latest version?

I use the same commands to upgrade and it works ok. My initial thought would be the release that you are specifying in your docker-compose.yml file. In my case I have

…

dawarich\_app:

```
image: freikin/dawarich:latest
container_name: dawarich_app
networks:
```

…

This says I want the latest release. In other cases you can specify the major, minor and bug fix release bug i am not sure about the format. It maybe

```
image: freikin/dawarich:14.1.5
```

Yep, mine is set to latest for the docker compose file, which I used from the setup instructions. Not sure what was going on, but after several tries it finally switched to the latest version. So I guess it’s resolved for now.

Your problem is definitely the migration. I would definitely advise against using \*.latest. I do every update manually and wait for the usual chaos to blow over.
